Creative Day at Easterseals Bluegrass provides Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) in Lexington, KY, offering a safe, inclusive medical daycare for Medicaid-eligible children with complex medical needs. Our program offers skilled nursing and developmental care for children with cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and many other diagnoses.

Our Program
At Creative Day, children with complex medical conditions can learn and play alongside peers in a safe, nurturing, and play-based medical daycare environment. This setting supports both developmental growth and social interaction, while giving parents and caregivers the flexibility to work or attend school. In partnership with each child’s primary care physician, our interdisciplinary team provides coordinated medical care, pediatric therapy, and educational support. Each child receives an individualized program plan tailored to their developmental needs, ensuring personalized attention and compassionate care.

PPEC is a Medicaid-covered program that provides skilled nursing and therapy services in a daycare setting for children with complex medical needs.
We are open from 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.
Children from birth to age 21 who are Medicaid-eligible and have a qualifying medical condition may be eligible for PPEC services.
