Adaptive Recreation promotes healthy and active lifestyles with the goal of improving the overall quality of life for people with physical disabilities through education, adaptive equipment and adaptive recreation experiences.

Adaptive Downhill Skiing

Easterseals Bluegrass has partnered with the folks at Perfect North Slopes in Indiana to provide you the opportunity to participate in adaptive downhill skiing. Perfect North provides a wide variety of adaptive equipment for participants, as well as adaptive ski instructors to help you along the way. Please reach out for possible dates and times.

Sled Hockey

Easterseals Bluegrass and Bluegrass Adaptive Sled Hockey have partnered to give you the opportunity to participate in the great sport of sled hockey. Sled hockey is for both youth (6+) and adults who have a physical disability keeping them from playing ice hockey in a standing position. Practices are held at the Lexington Ice Center and equipment is provided. Family and friends are encouraged to participate.

Adaptive Rock Climbing

Adaptive rock climbing is available at L’Escalade. Providing resources for opportunities in KY/OH. Please check it out at lefclimbing.com

Toyota Bluegrass Miracle League
