Pediatric Therapy

Our Pediatric Therapy program is designed to assess the cognitive, physical, communicative and developmental needs of each child—and to address those needs through Occupational, Physical or Speech Therapy.

Our therapists work collaboratively with each child’s family, medical team, educational team and other support systems as needed.

Monday – Friday, 8AM–5:30PM

Our Program

We assist children from birth to young adulthood to increase their level of functional abilities, and to help them be as independent as possible. Our therapists complete a comprehensive evaluation of each child to tailor treatments to their specific needs.

Types of Therapy We Offer

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapy treatments help children overcome sensory challenges and build self-regulation skill sets.  They can also improve skills in the following areas:

  • Adapted devices
  • Age-appropriate play skills
  • Dressing
  • Feeding
  • Handwriting
  • Neuro-muscular re-education
  • Sensory Processing, self-regulation
  • Toileting
  • Upper extremity use
  • Utensil use

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists provide one-on-one, individualized care that’s designed to help children meet developmental milestones, and improve their mobility and/or function. Physical Therapy can help improve skills in the following areas:

  • Balance
  • Coordination
  • Endurance
  • Equipment need & Management
  • Gait training
  • Gross motor skills
  • Strength

Speech and Language Therapy

Our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work with children who exhibit speech or language disorders to improve their verbal and/or nonverbal communication skills. They work with the following conditions:

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech
  • Dyslexia
  • Early Language learning
  • Executive Functioning disorders
  • Feeding disorders
  • Fluency disorders
  • Language disorders
  • Social language disorders
  • Speech Sound disorders
