Phyllis Elizabeth Hill

Phyllis Elizabeth (she/her) is a pediatric occupational therapist dedicated to providing neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based care that empowers children and families to thrive. Committed to a child-led & play-based approach, Phyl embraces the idea that differences in learning, communication, and social skills are important for helping create individualized strategies to support success in everyday life. Collaboration, self-advocacy, and joy are foundational to her practice for engaging and empowering children to further develop their skillsets.
Phyl is certified in DIR-Basic Floortime, a relationship-based approach that honors each child’s unique developmental journey while fostering meaningful connections. Phyllis Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University alongside an interdisciplinary graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Previously, Phyllis Elizabeth also earned a Bachelor of Science in human health sciences and photography from the University of Kentucky alongside a certificate in universal design.
Outside of work, Phyl enjoys being a member of the UK Alumni Band, gardening, and spending time with family. Her favorite food is anything potatoes!
